What we use cookies for
We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect your account — never for advertising, and never to track you across other websites. The Platform does not use any third-party analytics or advertising cookies today.
The cookies we set

| sm_refresh | Lets your session renew automatically without asking you to sign in again. Also not readable by JavaScript, and only ever sent to the one endpoint that renews a session — nowhere else. | ~7 days |
| csrftoken | Protects your account from cross-site request forgery — a malicious site tricking your browser into making a request on this site without your knowledge. Readable by our own frontend code so it can be attached to your requests, but useless to a third-party site. | ~1 year, or until it's next reissued |
Why we don't ask for cookie consent
All three cookies above are "strictly necessary" — the Platform cannot authenticate you or protect your account without them. Under most cookie-consent frameworks, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from requiring a consent banner, which is why you won't see one here. This page exists so you know exactly what's set and why.
Controlling cookies
Your browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings. If you block the cookies above, you will not be able to stay signed in or use any feature that requires an account (submitting a listing, leaving a review, viewing your profile) — browsing published listings will still work.
